I knew eventually I would get a topic request regarding this sooner or later. So a loyal ShoeBagger told me about one of his boys who was recently dating a black woman. Somehow, through a series of unfortunate events, she ends up spazzing out on him. Now he’s sworn off black women for good and will only talk to white women. It’s not the first time I’ve actually heard something similar to this sad story. I don’t get it though. I’m equal opportunity and have branched out to a few races. Some have more pros and cons as some others, but I’ve never experienced a con so bad that would make me just take myself out of the race for an entire race; that’s roughly 23 million women to cut off. Makes no sense to me. I’ve dealt with some neck rolling and finger waving before, but that’s not to say that all black women will end up going crazy on their guys; however when it does happen, no one ever seems to be surprised. I know somewhere out there someone is reading this, rolling her eyes thinking “He just can’t handle a strong black woman.” What the f*ck does that even necessarily mean? In my opinion, I’m all for the guy dismissing the chick for acting reckless, but I can’t agree with him cutting off a whole group of people because of the color of her skin may or may not lead to a tendency to flip her lid over something small. I’m sure he wouldn’t like it if he tried to talk to a white woman and she rejected him simply because she doesn’t date black guys. Then it becomes offensive. So technically that makes this guy no better than a racist. And I can say that because I’m not racist. I hate everybody. It’s definitely not because of the color of their skin. It’s more or less because of their accent, or because the drive slowly, or just the general ignut-ness of some of them.
I can’t judge anyone for having preferences with whomever they choose to date, and if his preference happens to be dating white women that’s cool. That’s about as much as I can agree with his decision. I would hope that dating white women is something he’s been doing prior to his incident with the black woman, instead of a reaction to getting sonned by ol girl. If that’s not the case then he’s doing it for all the wrong reasons. While I have absolutely no problem with anyone who decides to date outside of their race, I do have a problem with people who have a problem with it (yes, you Jill Scott). Why do you even care? I think everyone should at least give it a chance. I know all black men will agree with this. Because whether it’s a secret of his or he screams it from the mountain tops, every black man has a thing for white women. Why this is? I can’t really say. Either way that’s a totally different soapbox to get on. Besides, I don’t want to give ABC anymore ideas about how they can try to get sympathy out of me by making in another special report about single, black women and their inability to find a black man. Just know that when one black dude sees another black dude with a bad white chick he’s thinking, “Myyyy N-Word!” True story…that’s word to Taye Diggs.

A Friendly Game
Good day, ladies and gentlemen. My brother reminded me today that I haven’t posted anything new up in a while so I thought I’d give you guys something good to discuss here today. This particular topic is something that I think most if not all of us can relate to; that of the dreaded friend zone. Personally I don’t have enough of an attention span to care too much about the friend zone. I can deal with it easily. If I’m digging you but the feeling isn’t mutual, maybe the next girl will. Hell, maybe your best friend will. Everybody isn’t as emotionless as me though, so I’m here venting on behalf of the people. I don’t think I’ve ever really put a girl into the friend zone unless she was somehow connected with someone whom I consider a close friend. Other than that, she’s fair game. But what I really want to know is what’s the point of the friend zone anyway? Shouldn’t you want to be with someone who you can just be yourself around without all the pressures of the romantic implications, or trying to impress them, etc? Shouldn’t you be friends first with somebody before you get too serious about them?
I think that more often than not, the friend zone doesn’t in actuality exist. Maybe one party feels that he or she will do something stupid to mess up what they have with the other person, so he/she will just put off the thought of being intimate with their friend because they would rather have them around in some form or another than not. It doesn’t change the fact that they think of each other as more than just friends though. If this weren’t true , and two people were in fact “just friends” then they wouldn’t do things that would make one believe that they want more. See, me and my friends don’t have tickle fights and give each other massages. They don’t get mad at me if I ignore them for another girl. We don’t get overly flirtatious when we get drunk. Friends throw up in your car. Friends have sex on your couch and don’t tell you about it until you sit down on that same couch. Friends take a piss in your nightstand…well at least mine do.
Originally I was going to do some kind of pseudo-advice post on how to get out of the friend zone, but I realized that I’d likely just copy and paste some random answers from a relationship blog. Instead, after intense consideration, I felt it best that one should embrace himself/herself in the friend zone. Personally, I don’t even see how someone could say they are “in love” with someone who they haven’t had any romantic interactions with (unless that other person is Beyonce), but that’s just me. If you truly are in like with your friend then you should probably let him/her know that. IF you happen to be rejected then don’t go into a hole and avoid this person because you are embarrassed at your failed vulnerability. Shit happens...so quit putting the pussy on a pedestal. Now, if you’ve been reading my posts for a while, you’ll know how I feel about having women around and how they can be a benefit to your potential success of picking up other women. Read it. Embrace it. Live by it.
What will happen once you reveal to your friend how you feel about them is that you will have planted a seed in their brains about your potential as a love interest. Once you have done that, move around. Don’t look at them as a potential love interest, and view them for what they are; just another friend. Stop going out with him/her on friendly dates and start going on real dates that you have picked up as a result of using your “just friend” as a wingman/woman. Treat him/her like a friend with benefits without the benefits. Maybe the friend will come around and realize that he/she is madly in love with you too. Probably not. If and when that doesn’t happen, it’s all good. At least you took a chance, and isn’t that what living is all about anyway?

Be Easy
In case you were never aware of a late breaking sociological study, women love to argue. They love drama, and they can’t survive without it. This is the same reason why women will befriend someone who they tell their other friends that they can’t stand, and constantly talk about this person behind their back. It’s the same reason why women will enter and continue a relationship that has no benefit whatsoever to them. She doesn’t even have to really even like the other guy that much, but because there’s drama involved, she will stay. I don’t know if it’s for pure entertainment or what. Let’s say you have a group of guys riding in the car having a discussion. One guy gets out. What happens next? The remaining guys will move on to the next subject or whatever catcher their attention next. Now replace those guys with women. If one gets out of the car, there’s a much higher chance that one of the remaining women in the car will have something sassy or unappealing to say about the person who just exited the vehicle. When the next one gets out she will then call the first person who got out and inform her of what the other two people in the car said about her. And the cycle of drama continues. If you weren’t aware, women even have the powers to turn compliments into insults. Everyday in America some woman asks her man how she looks in some random outfit. If the guy says “It’s straight” or “it’s cool” then the outfit isn’t good enough and he thinks she’s ugly and fat. God forbid that the guy pauses before he answers. The crazy thing is even if he says, “You look gorgeous. You are the most beautiful woman in the world.” She will reply with “That’s not true…tell me what you really think!” Now she doesn’t believe you, and everything you ever told her up to this point in the relationship has been a lie.
The easiest solution would be to just take a break from women, but unfortunately for men, we all have a temptation that we can’t shake. No, it’s not a woman herself ; it’s her vagina. And the woman has to come as part of a package deal. So how are we as men supposed to deal with these drama loving beings until the end of time? You can’t just simply not argue with them. One way or another they will pull you in. Women, for some reason (read: no logic implied), believe that if her man won’t argue with her that he isn’t passionate about the relationship and that he doesn’t care enough. If a woman gets this notion enough, she will eventually take her vagina away from you, and we can’t have that now can we? So for the fellas out there, here are a few ways that you can minimize the arguing between you and the woman in your life.
First of all, pick your beef. She may get on some crazy soapbox about something that pisses you off, but don’t engage in an all out scream-fest unless it’s something you are truly passionate about. Like if she wants to watch Grey’s Anatomy, but you haven’t reached your checkpoint on Call of Duty yet. Understand that it is in a woman’s DNA to fight for dumb shit. Yeah it’s just as easy for her to put the toilet seat back up after she finishes so that you don’t have to keep lifting it up over and over again, but let her have that one. If you’re gonna fight, make sure it’s worth the time and whatever after affects it may have down the road.
Think AGAIN before you talk. Have you ever been in an argument with a woman, and as soon as she made a comment you were able to counter it with quick thinking and a great comeback that pretty much shut the whole conversation down? Next time, don’t do that. Now you’re not just the bad guy, but you’re the bad guy who’s an asshole who doesn’t consider her feelings. Women are trained to believe that they are always right, and to crush them with sheer logical thought is the biggest insult a man can ever give to a woman. Instead of throwing a verbal haymaker into the argument, say it with an upward inflection that sounds like a question. This way she can answer it and believe that it was her who resolved the problem. She wins because she can now tell all of her friends how she “won” the argument. You win because you get to finish watching the game.
Lastly, I would advise that you never fully engage in the argument in the first place if you don’t have to. Just nod and smile and agree with her. Just don’t make it seem phony. Say “you right” (see how it works here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olGq3TOs174&feature=related ) about 6 or 7 times and it’ll be over before you know it. But be careful to avoid these two common mistakes. Never apologize and never admit you were wrong unless you have no other choice. It will come back to haunt you in the future. Saying “sorry” is an admission of guilt. Therefore say something along the lines of “I’m sorry if by me doing ______ you feel _____.” As I’ve told others before, I’m not always right, but I’m never wrong. Pretty much everything I do is based on a logical decision where I’ve evaluated the consequences and made the appropriate actions based on that logic. Sometimes it’s drunk logic. Sometimes it’s angry logic. But it was always the right decision at the time.
That’s all I can do to help you guys for now. The only other solution would be to find a woman who doesn’t feed off drama and argue for no apparent reason. And if you’ve already found her, see if she has a sister for me.

Get Off Your High Tower, Steve
How did we get to the point where women are so hard pressed to find and keep a man that they will go to extremes to make it happen? European women are notorious for spending tens of thousands of dollars making trips back and forth to see men who are in prison for life and some that are on death row. They pour lots money into their commissary, and for what? It’s not like there’s much more you can do other than read and write a few letters, and have a monitored conversation. Do conjugal visits even exist anymore? I highly doubt that these dudes have wills to leave behind to the women either. Not because of legal reasons or anything, I just figure most convicted murderers and rapists don’t have an estate to leave behind to loved ones. I don’t know how repulsive or diseased ridden a woman has to be to stoop to this kind of level to get attention from a man, but damn…there are a lot of dudes out there that will do anything for piece of ass.
American women have taken it one step further. They have resulted into getting relationship advice from the one and only Steve Harvey. Yes the nigga with the 7 button suits…yeah, the guy who was still rocking the same flat box cut for the past 26 years before he finally cut it off a few months ago. The same guy who needs to resort back to that box cut because being bald is not working for him at all. It takes a special kind of man to pull it off. It’s just not for everyone (that goes for you too, Mario).
It’s not like it’s new news that Steve Harvey wrote a book titled “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.” It actually was number one on the New York Times best seller list. For that I applaud Steve. No hatred over here for the dude making some extra cash and getting some recognition. What I have a problem with is whoever told him he was a relationship guru. It should probably be noted that he’s on his third marriage. Doesn’t a woman reading his book equate to a woman taking advice from her lonely bitter friend who can’t keep a man, but tells her everything that is wrong in her relationship. Isn’t he more qualified to write a book called “Third Time Is The Charm: What To Do When You’ve Fucked Up Two Marriages”? I’m sorry, Steve, but just because you gave Romeo and Bullethead some fatherly advice every once in a while doesn’t entitle you to tell any woman what she needs to do in her relationship. It took him like 7 seasons to finally close on Regina. What’s next? Are we gonna start hangin with Mr. Cooper to tell us how to raise kids?
Really, how much can you put in a book telling a woman to think like a man? Think logically. The End. I’m also kinda pissed off that he would write a book telling women to think like men in the first place. If your woman can think like you that means you can’t get away with shit, because she’s already a step ahead of you. Thanks for telling all the locker room secrets, Kobe. I personally don’t see what any woman can really gain from reading a book about relationships. For one, half of the women who read the book probably dropped out of some sort of school at some point in their life. Just in my professional opinion, I don’t think they are going to take anything written in a book and be able to apply it. I’m just sayin. Now I didn’t read the book, but I think I can make an accurate assessment of it: men tend to exhibit a certain type of behavior so if a woman wants to keep her man she should acknowledge and respect it as such. Probably not spot on, but it’s somewhere in that area. I really don’t think relationship books in general are meant to be taken seriously. I’m sure they can make for a great conversation piece between friends and/or couples. But if anyone is so down on their love life, wondering why things never work out and is looking to one of those books for serious advice, please stop…put the book down…get in your car…and drive to the nearest therapist. You need more than a book to help you out. Matter of fact, instead of spending the $20 on the book, give me the money and I’ll tell you what the problem is. Seriously. Maybe I should write a book on why people shouldn’t read books. The funny thing is I think it could actually work

Thanks, but no thanks
I was watching an episode of the show “The Game” the other day. You know the one where the white chick is teaching the other two light skinded ones how to pole dance for their respective mens’. Then I started seeing all these commercials for something called “Flirty Girl Fitness” or some variation of that where women who all wear a size 0 do some hip thrusts and a few weak ass lap dances on top of an empty chair and claim it can get you in shape and keep you fit. Yeah, probably if you’re already a size 0. Tell Mo’nique and Precious big asses to get up there, and if they lose a significant amount of weight, I’ll believe it; otherwise, I ain’t buying it. Come to find out there are thousands of women all across the country who take these pole dancing classes, claiming to do it so that they can spice things up in the bedroom and whatnot. Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll pass. It’s not that I have anything against getting a lap/pole dance from my lady, it’s just that there’s absolutely no reason for you to take these classes. Personally, I’m not much of a strip club kinda guy anyway, although I do enjoy the visuals . I’ll never be the one who says, “hey let’s hit the strip club” whenever I’m chilling with my boys trying to find something to do later that night. It just never made sense to me to go somewhere and pay a woman to dance for me, give me an erection, and leave me out to dry. And if I happen to be in a classy establishment such as Harlem Knights, where I can get some in exchange for an undisclosed amount, I’m a strong advocate against direct monetary transactions for sex. So at the end of the day it’s pointless to me. But if do happen to end up there anyway, I still notice that some of the moves that some of these skrippers are able to perform cannot be taught in one class that lasts an hour, and is taught by a 45 yr old ex-burlesque show girl. Some of these hoes are really talented. I mean, let’s be real about this people. One class? Do you really think that’s all you need to perform to the best of your ability? You can’t go to class for the first day of the semester and not show up again until finals and expect to pass. It doesn’t work that way. Another reason why this practice has no real benefit to anyone is because there’s nowhere to utilize the skills outside of a strip club. Who in the hell has a pole in their house/apartment? Seriously ladies, where exactly are you gonna perform some of these moves for your man? So if there are any ladies who are wasting time and money on these classes please stop. I’d much rather you buy me a pair of shoes or a watch than to see you bust your ass trying to climb a pole. Now if you can take a class that teaches you how to dance like one of them girls in the “Tip Drill” video, then that’s something we can discuss.
One last rant before I check out of here. Remember the scene in the movie “Old School” where they have all the wives learning how to give phenomenal fellatio (I made that one up)? Turns out these off the dome sessions exist as well. Now this is something that ladies can put to good use for their man, considering the fact that they don’t need a large metal prop to do so. But just like pole dancing, it’s a waste of time and/or money. Think about it; why would I want another woman teaching my girl how to give me head? Especially if I’m not around to be used in tutorials. I think I’d much rather teach her to do what I like on my own. Who knows what I like better than me, right? And she won’t have to worry if she doesn’t get it right the first time…we can keep practicing until she gets it right.

Same Sh*t...Different Toilet
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/6754981.html
So I ran across this article the other day in The Houston Chronicle and it the basis of it surrounds the fact that many people in black community aren’t necessarily mad at Tiger for cheating on his wife; they have a problem with all of the rumored mistresses being white. Which of course brings us back full circle to the age old problem of famous black men (most notably athletes) becoming successful and running off with a white girl. I think we’ve all heard this argument time and time again, and in my opinion, I think it’s about time we all moved on. Black people love to play the race card a lot and are always screaming for equality, so why would it make a difference if you date someone black or white? I think I know where the problem lies. It’s when a black man gets a white woman for the sole purpose of feeling validated for having reached a certain level of success. I mean if a brother can get a white girl, then he really made it right? I’m pretty sure this is the reason behind a few of the many prominent black athletes and entertainers today. I can understand why this would upset anybody. But this probably equates to a small percentage of people who are in an interracial relationship. Some black people will get mad when they hear that a black man or woman is generally more attracted to and prefers a white partner rather than dating within their race. I don’t necessarily see a problem with this as long as it’s not one of those dudes that just come right out and say “I don’t date black chicks.” Hey, we all have preferences don’t we? Is it any different than a black woman who says she prefers a dark chocolate man? At the end of the day, her preference is based on the color of her counterpart’s skin tone.
And as far as black women out there still complaining that the white women are taking all of your men, nobody told you that you had to date a black man. Switch it up. As a matter of fact, I have a very close white friend who happens to like women with some melanin in their skin. Hit me up if you’re interested. Now that I think about it, a lot of my friends are in interracial relationships, and they all seem to be genuinely happy. They didn’t do it because they thought their boy/girlfriend was a status symbol. They didn’t do it because they thought it would be easier dating someone white either. This brings me to another point. I’ve heard people claiming that Tiger never would’ve gotten away with this had he been married to a black woman, “cuz ain’t no sistah gon’ stand for that bs.” Negroes please. I know plenty of black women who have been cheated on and didn’t do shit about it. Some of them might do something stupid like flatten all four tires on your Cadillac and put a brick through your windshield (true story). But a message to all the ladies out there, you cannot hurt a man by harming his personal belongings. For one, anything worth destroying is probably insured or covered by some kind of accidental damage warranty. All that’s going to do is piss him off and make him want to hurt you even more. The only way to truly hurt a man is to…….nah, I’m not gonna tell you.
Another comment in the article that stuck out to me brought up the notion of how some people would act towards Barack Obama had he married a white woman. Seeing as how he’s a light skinded, half black, Harvard graduate, how many people out there riding the Obama train would call him a sellout if Michelle were white instead of black? For that matter, would more white people have accepted him had he been married to a white woman? Yeah I’m sure a lot of black people would still vote for him just because he was black (which is another topic that I could rant about for hours), but a lot of people would have probably thought a little more about that decision. Of course the Republicans still had Sarah Palin on their team, which technically wouldn’t have made that much of a difference this time around anyway. You get the point I’m getting at here though. True enough it’s easier for a people to date someone with a similar culture or background, but you don’t see the Vatican going ape shit when a famous catholic person marries a protestant. Maybe we should just make race like we do religion. You can convert to being Jewish or Catholic, so why not convert some of these white women over to the dark side before they’re allowed to get married to a black man? They would have to go through a series of tests to prove their “blackness” and even have to start checking the little box on all applications marked “Black and/or of African descent.” Would that satisfy everybody?
Is That Yo Chick Pt 2
Is that Yo Chick PT 2:
As a follow up to “Is that Yo Chick Pt.1”, we proudly introduce a Pt. 2 because you (the people) loved it so much with your comment,s and because there are other aspects to touch on. Now we already stated that if your partner wanted to cheat they were going to cheat and there is NOTHING you can do about it. So just to recap the first two components, which were the jealous guy/girl that hates when people look at their partner, and thinking that just because they are talking to a friend, that it must mean they are “blowing their back out” even though if they talking to someone out of my crew we most likely taught her that little thing that she does and that you like most. So let’s jump right into these next topics.
Another situation we notice happens often is when a girlfriend/boyfriend’s phone rings from a call or a text, a lot of people get all up in arms for no reason. If you think you are the only person in your partner’s contacts, then you are about as dumb as a sack of rocks. There are people before you and most likely will be some during and after you….so save yourself some stress and try not to screen someone else’s phone calls. Just think about it like this: if it’s someone he/she is cheating with he/she won’t even look at the phone let alone answer it in front of you. So just calm down before someone’s feelings get hurt. Some people you just can’t win with. Let’s say someone’s significant other does answer the phone in front of them to talk to a friend, be it male or female, they are talking to someone who is JUST A FRIEND. You have some people who get mad because they think their girl/guy is flirting with someone else in their face and is being disrespectful. On the other hand if the phone doesn’t get answered that person will still get mad because he/she feels that the significant other has something to hide. God forbid if your guy/girl caught you cheating before. Every time your phone rings all she’ll say is “It’s probably that BITCH calling you again!” 4406
Lastly, if a random person compliments your girl/boyfriend by saying something like “you look nice today” or “I like what you have on” it does not mean that they are trying to recruit your main squeeze into some kind of weird swingers union. No need to jump down a person’s throat (no lil kim). If someone tells you that your man/woman is handsome/beautiful, take solace in the fact that you have great taste and that you aren’t like some of these people walking around with somebody on your arm looking like they just got through watching the tape from The Ring. The same thing applies when ya’ll are standing in a checkout line and we stop and have a conversation with the clerk. That person is not flirting, that’s just good customer service. Or maybe they are. The salesperson could be looking to get some.

Is That Yo Chick?
Anybody out there known to be a jealous boyfriend/girlfriend? You probably won’t admit it and that’s ok. Does anybody have a jealous significant other? I don’t necessarily have a problem with people getting a little jealous when their boyfriend/girlfriend gets a little too close for comfort with someone else that isn’t him/her. It’s only natural. What I do have a problem with is people who are rediculously jealous as well as insecure in their relationship. People would be doing themselves a huge favor if they stopped stressing themselves out over what the other person is doing. I’m not saying you shouldn’t care what the other person is doing, I’m saying there isn’t anything you can do about what the other person is doing. To everyone out there in Facebookland and across the globe read this carefully: If your man/woman wants to cheat on you, there is absolutely NOTHING that you can do about it.
There are generally two situations that piss me off whenever I see them; rather it be on tv or in real life.
The first happens something like this when me and my boys decide to hit downtown. Why is it that whenever some guy sees us walking towards him and his girl he immediately looks at his girl, looks at us, and then graps his girl’s hand and moves to the other side of the walk way or to another part of the club? Stop handcuffing dude. Don’t get mad at one of us because your girl was peeping. And don’t try to act hard and front of your girl either, cuz I’m the only skinny one in my crew. Everybody else looks like they got their master’s degree from Gold’s Gym. We will whoop the shit outta you and take ya girl behing the alley of Speakeasy and have our way. I’m just playin…but I’m sayin. The point I’m trying to make is there is no reason for you to be mad. Not at me anyway. You’d be better off checking your girl and going upside her head. Besides, I’m not gonna holla at her…well not in front of you anyway. Now as soon as you go to the bathroom, I might step to her at the bar. But you’re in the bathroom and there ain’t a damn thing you can do about it. So stop with the insecurities. If something did happen with your girl and another dude, you won’t find out about it anyway. And worrying about what or who she does all day when you’re not around will eat you alive. You can’t watch her 24/7. And if you happen to have an attractive girlfriend, you have to know that dudes try to get at her all day everyday.
(NOTE: All men probably seem to think that their significant other is attractive. Unfortunately several men are sadly mistaken. For those of you guys out there you can relax, you have nothing to worry about here. Unless of course your girl is a hoe. I’m just playin…but I’m sayin)
The second situation that I happen to see a lot is when a person sees their boyfriend/girlfriend talking to somebody else that they don’t know and they immediately get jealous. If your girl/guy happens to be getting a little too flirtatious, it’s perfectly ok to let it be known that you plan on kick the shit out him/her as soon as you get home. But never, ever, under any circumstances try to check the other person. The first reason being that you don’t know them and they just might kick your ass. The second reason being, it’s not their fault that your significant other wants to talk to them. If you happen to go out and you see you girl/guy getting a little too close to someone else, then do the same thing with someone else but take it up a notch or two. See how much they like it on the other end and I guarantee you they’ll think twice about it the next time. You may even end up getting laid out of the whole ordeal. Not saying I condone that…but I’m sayin.
With that being said, the basic premise I’m trying to get to is that if you’re gonna be with somebody, you gotta learn to trust them. If you can’t do that, then you might as well break up now because you will never be happy with that person. If you do what you’re supposed to do you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. And if your boyfriend/girlfriend still ends up sneaking around, well then that just wasn’t the one for you. It’s not the end of the world. On to the next one. Yeah it may hurt you, but don’t get mad. Get even. Sleep with his/her closest friends as revenge. I’m just playin…but I’m sayin.
